Kandyachi Koshimbir (Onion Raita)
Kandyachi koshimbir is a side dish prepared in Maharashtrian style.
Measurement: 1 Cup = 180 ml
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- Onion (chopped) – 1 large
- Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- Green chilly (chopped) – 1
- Roasted peanut powder – 11/2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Corriander leaves (chopped) – 1 tsp
- Cumin poader – a pinch (optional)
- Chilly powder – a pinch (optional)
- Take mixing bowl and combine all the ingredients numbering 1 to 6 and mix well.
- Sprinkle chilly powder and cumin powder.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
- Serve as a side dish to the meal.
- You may give it a tempering with mustard seeds or cumin seeds and a hing.
