Seviya Kheer
Measurement: 1 cup = 180 ml
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- Roasted seviya – 1/2 cup
- Milk (boiled) – 1/2 ltr
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Ghee – 1.5 tbsp
- Cashew nuts, raisins, almonds and pistachios – as per your requirement
- Charoli (chironji) – 1tsp
- Green cardamom (powdered) – 2
Procedure:
- Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan, fry charoli and keep side.
- Stir fry seviya inthe same ghee for a min.
- Add milk to it and cook on low flame, stir occasionally.
- Once the seviya gets cooked and the mixture starts thickening, add sugar and stir well.
- Add cashew nuts, almonds, raisins and fried charoli.
- Simmer till you get desired consistency.
- Put of the flame and add cardamom powder. Stir well.
- Garnish with pistachios.
- Serve hot / at room temperature / chilled.
