Fruit Custard
Serves: 5 to 6
Ingredients:
- Milk – 1/2 ltr
- Sugar – 3 to 4 tbsp
- Vanilla custard powder – 2.5 tbsp
- Vanilla essence – 4 drops
- Vanilla ice-cream – 1 cup/ 1 scoop
- Apple (peeled and chopped) – 1
- Banana (sliced) – 1
- Chikoo (peeled and chopped) – 1
- Black and green grapes (cut into halves) – 1/2 cup
- Strawberry/papaya/pomegranate etc – as per your requirement
- Dissolve custard powder in 1/4th cup milk and keep it aside.
- Boil remaining milk.
- Add sugar and custard powder mixture.
- Stir continuously and bring it to boil.
- Add vanilla essence and stir well.
- Allow it to cool.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.
- At the time of serving, add ice-cream and mix well.
- Add freshly cut fruits.
- Serve chilled.
- Top up with raspberry jelly.
