Takachi Kadi (Buttermilk Curry)
Ingredients:
Buttermilk – 3 cups
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Curry leaves – 4-6
Ginger – 2 slices
Green chillies (chopped) – 2
Corriander leaves (chopped) – 1 tbsp
Oil – 1.5 tsp
Procedure:
Add turmeric powder, ginger slices and salt to the buttermilk.
Heat oil in a cooking pan and add mustards seeds, let them splutter.
Add hing, curry leaves and green chillies.
Add buttermilk and bring it to boil.
Add corriander leaves.
Serve with rice.
Tip:
You may add besan for thickening.
