Chana jor / chor garam is a popular Indian street food. Chana chor is flattened black Bengal gram (kala chana). It is tangy and a pungent dish. Chana chor is mixed with raw onion, tomato and chaat seasonings. It is best enjoyed when served in a newspaper cone, but the ink is extremely harmful. I have prepared the special cone by lining the newspaper with aluminium foil.
This dish can be made at home now, because of the availability of chana chor. These are readily available at mithai and namkeen stores or even the branded packs would be available at super markets.
Here goes the recipe for Chana jor / chor garam.

For making newspaper cone with foil:
Place a piece of aluminium foil over the piece of newspaper and then make a cone such that foil would be inside and paper outside.
