Pumpkin soup is a kid’s friendly soup. It can be given to infants too (9 months +) in little quantity, who are introduced to adult food. When the baby is getting introduced to an adult food, the vegetables which are started initially are pumpkin, tomato, carrot and beetroot. Later, sweet potato, potato, spinach, onion and beans. I used to avoid lady’s finger, cauliflower and cabbage for my son. When you start with any such food for an infant, consult your paediatrician.
