Chifferi Pasta In White Sauce
Ingredients:
- Chifferi pasta – 2 cups
- Onion (diced)- 1 medium
- Capsicum (diced) – 1/2 cup
- Carrot (diced & boiled) – 1/2 cup
- Corn (boiled) – 1/2 cup
- Button mushrooms (sliced) – 4 to 6
- Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
- Butter / Olive oil- 2 tsp
- Mixed herbs – 1 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/8 tsp
- Processed cheese (grated) – as per your requirement
- White sauce
- Salt to taste
For the White Sauce:
- Maida – 2 1/2 tbsp
- Milk – 300 ml
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- White / Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- Prepare white sauce and keep aside.
- Cook pasta as per the package instructions.
- Heat oil or melt butter in a pan.
- Add garlic and onion, stir fry till translucent.
- Add capsicum and stir fry for a minute.
- Add mixed herbs and pepper powder.
- Add mushrooms and stir fry till mushrooms are done.
- Add boiled carrots and corn.
- Add white sauce, stir well.
- Add cooked pasta and mix well.
- Add grated cheese.
- Serve hot.
- Boil milk and keep it aside
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Add maida to it and stir fry till it gives out aroma.
- Let it cool.
- Add boiled milk to it.
- Whisk it and bring it to boil by stirring continuously.
- Add pepper powder and salt, stir well.
